'A piece of Finland' is a brand new store at Haarlemmerdijk, selling and promoting all things Finnish! Owners Ramona Korhonen and Anna Kelhu opened the shop last week and next to selling and promoting Finnish brands they love the store functioning as a cultural meeting point.
The back of the store is light and white and the minimalistic painting on the wall represents Scandinavian winter.Selling travel books at the store and advise those travelling to Finland is part of their philosophy.
A dialogue with nature is reflected in many Finnish design pieces Legendary international brands such as Iittala, Marimekko, Nokia and Artek have paved way for new successes like Ivana Helsinki, Secto, Tonfisk, Rovio and Jolla.
